Day Care Build-Out in Chicago

AMG Proline recently completed a full day care center build-out in Chicago, transforming an empty commercial space into a bright, safe, and fully code-compliant childcare facility. Our team handled the complete conversion — from layout planning and framing to finishes, safety requirements, and child-friendly design. The final result is a clean, modern, and inviting environment created specifically for learning, creativity, and early development.

This day care build-out included multiple dedicated activity rooms, entry and reception upgrades, durable flooring, child-safe fixtures, fresh painting, and optimized lighting throughout the space. We installed new plumbing, electrical, ventilation, and egress components to meet both Chicago building codes and Illinois Department of Children & Family Services (DCFS) standards.

Safety was the top priority, so we integrated rounded-edge materials, anti-slip flooring, secure access points, and compliant bathroom facilities sized appropriately for children. Every aspect was constructed with durability and sanitation in mind — ensuring long-term performance and daily comfort for both children and staff.
